The great Bodhisattva, Manjushri was asked if he had encountered anyone, anywhere in his vast travels, who had followed the Lotus Sutra so well that they were qualified to become a Buddha quickly. Manjushri replied, "Yes, the clever eight-year old daughter of the dragon king Sagara. She has entered into profound meditation, has understood all of the main teachings, and is wise, eloquent, compassionate, generous, kind and gentle. She quickly aspired to awakening and entered the path of the Way. Yes, she is able to become awakened quickly."
