More than 16,000 water professionals are meeting down on the bayou for the largest water quality show in North America. The 2004 Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC.04) takes place Oct. 2-6 in New Orleans. There are more than 800 exhibiting companies on hand to answer questions and give demonstrations on new technologies and services.

Beyond just an exhibition, WEF sponsors 95 technical sessions and 23 workshops for water and wastewater professionals. There was a 35% increase in abstract submission for WEFTEC.04, which allowed for more selectivity, improving the program from previous years. This year's ...
