The Continental Tire Bowl was scheduled to make a decision Monday night that would impact where the Syracuse University football team will likely play in the postseason.
The Tire Bowl was choosing between Connecticut and Boston College as its Big East Conference representative to play North Carolina of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Dec. 30 in Charlotte.
If the Tire Bowl chooses Connecticut, the Motor City Bowl is prepared to invite Syracuse, according to a Big East official.
