Dec. 1--JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- When Lenel van den Berg arrived here 18 years ago to run an ice skating school, someone asked him what else he was going to do for a job.
But van den Berg had big plans for skating in the little city 5 miles north of the Pennsylvania border.
This week, he's helping organize a national championship expected to bring 2,500 people to the Jamestown area and pump more than $3 million into the local economy.
