Aastra Technologies is in negotiations with European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS) to acquire the EADS Enterprise Telephony Business. EADS Enterprise Telephony Business (or EADS Telecom) is a division of EADS and supplier of turnkey telecommunications networks for public safety, federal and enterprise markets. Through the acquisition, Aastra will expand its presence in the enterprise telephony market, specifically in the small to medium business market and the larger enterprise and call center segment.
