Cara Lewis believes each deal should be treated differently. In what has become a cookie-cutter, one-deal-fits-all world of live music, largely as a result of monolithic talent buyers like Clear Channel, such a sentiment doesn't exactly reflect the status quo.
It also points to Lewis' success: The 15-year William Morris music agent has a client list boasting a who's who of successful urban and hip-hop recording artists including Eminem, Outkast, 50 Cent, DMX and Queen Latifah. Lewis has established herself as a hard-charging agent who examines all sides of a deal that will fulfill a client's goals.
