HOLIDAY INN CROWNE PLAZA RESORT TO OPEN ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.
ATLANTA, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marriott Hotel at Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island, S.C., has been acquired by Holiday Inn Worldwide under terms of an agreement announced today.
Holiday Inn said it will refurbish the 338-room hotel in the coming months and open it as a full-service Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Resort in early 1993. The ocean-front resort will feature golf, tennis, beach, spa, supervised children's programs and other recreational amenities.
