Dec. 3--A sweet herb from Paraguay that can substitute for sugar. Spicy oatmeal-raisin cookies baked with ancho chile in the United States. Nectar-like apple ice wine from Quebec. Organic coffee from Brazil. Indian curry and basmati rice, ready to microwave.
It was a feast for the taste-buds Thursday in Miami Beach at the seventh annual Americas Food & Beverage Show, when more than 400 exhibitors offered literally from soup to nuts for importers, distributors and others in the food trade.
