SAN DIEGO, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Preliminary results from a new survey published in the November 16, 2004 issue of the Medical Journal 'Blood' as part of the American Society of Hematology 46th Annual Meeting and Exposition suggest that treatment effectiveness, rather than convenience, is more important to cancer patients with chemotherapy-related anemia when selecting a therapy. The survey also shows that more than three-quarters of providers believe that patients' top priority is effectiveness of treatment rather than fewer office visits for treatment.
