TAMPA, Fla. _ As the packed house at Raymond James Stadium roared its approval, Tampa Bay DE Simeon Rice took the ball from the official, jogged to the sidelines and put away his new piece of history for safe-keeping.
The 100th sack of Rice's career was a moment worth savoring, if only for an afternoon.
"For me to do what I've done at this point, I think you applaud it," Rice said after becoming the 22nd player in NFL history to reach the 100-sack milestone in Sunday's 27-0 shutout of Atlanta. "But from my perspective, I have lots to go."
