TOKYO, Dec 6 Asia Pulse - Electronics retailer Yamada Denki Co. (TSE:9831) is set to roll out digital electronics in January under a house brand at prices that are about 20-30 per cent lower than those offered by major manufacturers, The Nihon Keizai Shimbun learned Sunday.
Yamada Denki would be the first retailer in Japan to offer digital electronics under a house brand.
The company plans to first launch a 26-inch LCD (liquid crystal display) television next month to be followed by a 32-inch LCD TV and DVD recorder in March. The digital electronics, to be sold under the same name as Yamada Denki's in-house Frontier-brand personal computer, will be ...
