Offensive tackle Marc Colombo took some snaps with the first team during Wednesday's practice and took another step in a two- year journey that the former first-round draft pick believes will lead him back to the starting lineup.
That's where Colombo was as a rookie in 2002 before he suffered a dislocated left kneecap on Nov. 18, followed by complications, including nerve damage. After two years of rehabilitation, waiting and watching, he can't wait to get back to live action.
