RADNOR, Pa., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Once suspected of experiencing significant decline, sugar maple has been given a clean bill of health in the Northeastern part of the United States and Canada, according to the USDA Forest Service. 
Three independent surveys were performed by the North American Sugar Maple Decline Project of the Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry and Forestry Canada, and Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) and the Northern Forest Health Monitoring Program both of the Northeastern Station.
