LAS VEGAS -- A four-hour drive from his offseason home in Los Angeles, Las Vegas is where Earl Watson appeared Monday to meet his new coach and check out some of his new teammates in the summer league.
After the flurry of Sonics transactions in the past two weeks, Watson, 28, is the team's second-oldest player next to Wally Szczerbiak, 30, and was the one player new coach P.J. Carlesimo named as one who best exemplifies his defensive philosophy.
