NEW DELHI, Dec 7 Asia Pulse - WTO on Tuesday cautioned India against going in whole hog for Regional Trade Agreements and Free Trade Agreements and said it would be instituting a mechanism for monitoring them to see if they contibuted to the multilateral process.

"I share the same concerns on India going in for FTAs and RTAs," WTO Director General Supachai Panitchpakdi said when asked if he was in agreement with Professor Jagdish Bhagwati who said it was foolish for New Delhi to go for RTAs and FTAs over multilateralism.
