Dec. 10--SETTLEMENT WITH FARMERS CAN BRING A HOWL OF RAGE: When my son was 2 years old, feeling frustrated and unsure of how to vent, rage would build up in his little body until he let out a scream that sounded like "TAOW-DAWWWGGHH!"
He would stand rigid, his face red and contorted, fists clenched at his side, pouring all his anger into a howl like some tiny, enraged Klingon.
That was many years ago, but it was the first response that came to mind as I read of the so-called settlement with Farmers Insurance this week by the Texas Department of Insurance, or TDI.
