DATA RACE ANNOUNCES OEM AGREEMENT WITH DELL COMPUTER CORPORATION
SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- DATA RACE today announced that it has reached an agreement with Dell Computer Corporation (NASDAQ: DELL) (Austin, Texas) to be an OEM supplier for the Dell Computer internal V.22bis and V.32/FAX modems.
Under the terms of the agreement, DATA RACE will manufacture a high- speed 9600 bps data/fax send and receive modem designed and developed to meet Dell's specifications. The modem will be offered as an option for Dell's high-performance notebook computers, including the Dell Systems 325N, 325NC and new 320SLi slimline model.
