According to a study from Germany, "Testosterone affects different organs. Thus, a substitution of testosterone in the case of hormone deficiency seems plausible."

W. Krause of the Philipps University Clinic in Marburg reported, "By analyzing 61 randomized studies, we demonstrated that in men older than 65 years there is an increase in bone mass (but not a decrease in fracture risk), an increase in lean body mass, and an increase in erythropoiesis.
