Shipments of mobile GPS navigation solutions in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) jumped to 843,000 in the first half of the year, surpassing the total for all of 2003. Some 720,000 units were shipped with, or for use on, handhelds, according to estimates by Canalys.
