Dec. 10--The Jefferson County Health Department has secured more than 5,000 flu vaccines, and much of it will be available to the public at four community clinics scheduled for next week.
Each of the clinics will have 500 doses of vaccine to administer for $15 apiece to Jefferson County residents who are considered high-risk individuals.
The remaining 3,000 doses will be directed to nursing homes and private physicians in the county.
