   NEW YORK TO BIRMINGHAM, LOS ANGELES TO MANCHESTER 
NEW YORK, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- British Airways Regional is to launch trans-Atlantic services next spring, linking East and West Coast USA to the Midlands and North West in England. 
The company -- formed by British Airways to run regional operations from Scotland, Manchester and Birmingham -- announced today that New York will be linked to Birmingham and that Manchester will gain, for the first time ever, a scheduled service from Los Angeles.
