Dec. 11--Living in a motel in Fresno with her two children and unable to find a job, Rhonda Rushing signed up Friday for a program that helps pay for families to get a fresh start somewhere else.
But Rushing, a 32-year-old single mother, may be out of luck. Fresno County supervisors voted this week to stop funding its portion of MOVE, or More Opportunity for Viable Employment, a program by the Tulare County Office of Education. The Fresno County contract ends Dec. 31.
Though the Fresno office will close, the program will continue in Tulare and Madera counties, said ...
