IT'S QUITE unusual for a trainer to speak so frankly about one of his horses as to describe him as 'acting like a lunatic at the moment,' but Michael Jarvis is a straightforward sort of guy. If in the course of a discussion he has reason to refer to a spade, a spade is what he prefers to call it.
And besides, Rakti is acting like a lunatic. If they made straitjackets for horses, he'd be the first one fitted up.
