BRIGADIER GENERAL DONALD E. STOUT
Retired July 1, 1973.
Brigadier General Donald E. Stout is commander, 47th Air Division (Strategic Air Command), Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.
General Stout was born in 1923, in Emporia, Kan. He graduated from high school in Lawrence, Kan., and attended the University of Kansas from 1940 to 1942. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps in May 1942 and graduated from pilot training at Fort Sumner Army Airfield, N.M., with his pilot wings and a commission as second lieutenant in August 1943.
