BRIGADIER GENERAL OTIS E. WINN
Retired Aug. 1, 1971.
Brigadier General Otis E. Winn entered the service at West Point, N.Y., in October 1942. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in April 1943 after graduating from the Quartermaster Officers' Candidate School.
During World War II he served as an operations officer in the 2d Quartermaster Depot Supply Company.(Airborne) with the 1st Allied Airborne Army and later commanded the 3d Air Cargo Resupply Squadron which accomplished the parachute resupply of airborne forces during the invasions of France, Holland and Germany and at Bastogne.
