BRIGADIER GENERAL WILLIAM L. WORTHINGTON JR.
Retired July 1, 1995. Brigadier General William L. Worthington Jr. is commander, 82nd Training Wing, Air Education and Training Command, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. As wing commander, he has overall responsibility for training some 40,000 Air Force students each year, and another 93,000 students worldwide through the wing's field training detachments.
