Major General Archer L. Durham is director of deployment, U.S. Transportation Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
General Durham was born in Pasadena, Calif., in 1932, where he graduated from high school. He earned a bachelor of science degree in political science from Utah State University in 1960 and a master of science degree in international affairs from The George Washington University in 1975.
