Dec. 13--STAR FINANCIAL BANK, based in Fort Wayne, has collected more than 3,000 teddy bears and other stuffed toys to donate to fire and police stations in northeast Indiana. The toys are used to provide comfort to children who have been victims of fires, accidents and other stressful situations.

STATE FARM INSURANCE recently donated $5,000 to the Fort Wayne Fire Department to benefit fire prevention programs.
