WASHINGTON, December 12, 2004 (PPI): President George Bush said Thursday that "a strong Pakistan is in the interest of the United States," and a Pakistan "that is doing well economically and socially is a strong Pakistan." He observed this in response to the remarks by Ambassador Jehangir Karamat, who presented his credentials to the U.S. President, at a ceremony held at the White House.
