Dec. 11--Jerrica Moore's sixth day at her new job did not go well.
When the 16-year-old arrived Thursday at Sonic Drive-In, she discovered the business in Whitehall Plaza on Bloomington's west side had closed without warning.
"I just couldn't understand why nobody called," said Jerrica's mother, Rachel Howson.
Howson said her daughter called from a pay phone after finding the closed signs to ask what she should do.
