American Seeds, Inc. (ASI) acquired Channel Bio Corp., a Kentland, IN-based seed company whose brands include Crow's Hybrid Corn Co., Midwest Seed Genetics, Inc. and Wilson Seeds, for $120 million. ASI is a new holding company established by Monsanto Co., St. Louis, MO, to support regional seed businesses with capital, genetics and technology investments.

Dillion, MT-based Great Harvest Bread Co. bought the eight remaining Montana Mills stores from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc., Winston-Salem, NC.
