MIAMI -- Currently under construction, the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center is slated to open in 2006. Designed by John Portman & Associates, the hotel will include a 28,000 sq. ft. ballroom and 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and is part of a mixed-use project incorporating a convention center with 100,000 sq. ft. of exhibition space.
