"Luxury trucks'' will be Mercedes-Benz's mantra for the next two years as the brand launches three all-wheel-drive vehicles in the increasingly competitive segment.
The move is an attempt to catch up after being outpaced in a segment it once led, as well as a recognition of the popularity of light trucks in the United States.
Mercedes-Benz is seeking to double the role of light trucks in its mix.
