Karachi, Dec. 16 (PPI): Secretary General Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawar Hasan Thursday said debacle of East Pakistan and fall of Dhaka was result of rejecting people's aspirations and even after 33 years of the tragic incident, history was being repeated in South Waziristan and Balochistan. Speaking at a seminar on "Commemorating East Pakistan: Will History be Repeated" at Idara Noor-e-Haq, he said military's role was to defend geographical boundaries of Pakistan but generals could not be allowed to rule over the country.
