LOS ANGELES _ Andre Ward did not have his gold medal with him, but he had Mike Tyson on hand, Kobe Bryant arriving a bit late and a national audience peering in.
No, Ward wasn't in Athens anymore. He wasn't at home in Oakland, either.
"Man, this is the big time," Ward said after his dominant second-round stoppage of the slow-footed, taunt-spouting Christopher Molina.
"When the head-gear comes off and the money's on the line, you see things like that," Ward said, referring to Tyson and rapper Ice-T sitting ringside in Staples Center. "You've got to learn how to deal with it."
