INFRASTRUCTURE investment by Italian Railway Network (RFI), the infrastructure company of Italian State Railways group (FS), is targeted at two main elements--the high-speed/high-capacity network, and the freight logistics chain. It also includes, in association with the new high-speed lines, reorganising and separating traffic flows at the main railway junctions in major cities.
