New directions in the understanding and treatment of contact dermatitis range from complex analyses of the condition to allergy databases. In the June 2004 issue of Dermatology Times, James W. Swan, MD, an assistant professor in the department of dermatology, Fineberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, explained what new studies have found and how they can help patients with contact dermatitis.
