Citing rising production costs and declining subscriptions, the Women's Review of Books has announced they are suspending publication. Since 1983, the Women's Review of Books has provided informative critiques of new writing by women, often contributed by prominent feminist activists and academics. However, despite the committed support of the Wellesley Centers for Women, the publication's debt now totals $200,000.
