NEW YORK, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- A giant hot air balloon rally over

the dramatic Wadi Rum desert of Jordan and its rose-red "Hidden City" of Petra will salute the 57th birthday and 40th year on the throne of His Majesty King Hussein. 

 
The Royal Jordanian Balloon Rally starts on the King's birthday, Nov. 14, and continues to Nov. 17.  More than 50 expert balloonists from around the world will participate, including champions from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Italy, India, Hong Kong, Holland, Germany, France, Belgium, Brazil, Austria and Australia.
