BI Inc., the nation's largest provider of technology, treatment and inmate re-entry services for community-based corrections, was selected by the Colorado Department of Corrections and the Colorado Judicial Branch Division of Probation Services to provide electronic monitoring equipment and services for community-based offender supervision. The five-year contract for electronic monitoring equipment and related services is valued at $9.3 million. Under the agreement, BI will supply 1,600 BI 9000 electronic monitoring units and the option to use other products from BI's continuum.
