Dec. 21--BANGALORE, India -- Southern India will continue to sizzle in the skies next year. After a bumper 2004, it is only set to get busier for airlines and travel trade with more direct connections to the west and mid-east next year, experts say.
While it is confirmed that Delta Airlines and British Airways are linking up Chennai and Bangalore from next May and November respectively, market reports say that Air France, Emirates and now even KLM may do a southern jig in the coming months.
The southern metros are showing strong double digit growth with Bangalore taking the lead with a racy 25-30 percent rise.
