The Oklahoma City Chapter of National Association of Women in Construction hosted 36 construction-industry women during the organization's Annual Fall Planning Conference in late October. In addition to representatives from OKC and Tulsa, women traveled from Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Waco, Texas. During her welcome speech, guest Catherine O'Connor, assistant city manager of Oklahoma City, identified construction projects underway and planned throughout OKC.
