BOISE - Oregon State couldn't miss this opportunity.
Shooting .517 from the field and making 20-of-24 free throws, Oregon State raced to a 90-79 men's basketball victory over Boise State on Saturday night as Chris Stephens scored 21 points and Nick DeWitz added 17.
This was the rarest of victories for the Beavers (6-3), who were 1-10 in road games last season and had dropped their only true road game so far this season, at Nevada-Las Vegas.
