2004 DEC 27 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Researchers in the United States have found an association with the earliest A beta elevations in Alzheimer disease and Down syndrome.
"Early endosomes are a major site of amyloid precursor protein (APP) processing and a convergence point for molecules of pathologic relevance to Alzheimer's disease (AD)," wrote A.M. Cataldo and colleagues, McLean Hospital, Mailman Research Center.
