TOYOTA'S SOUTH FLORIDA AREA RETAIL SALES SPIRAL UPWARD
BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Toyota's 14 South Florida-
area dealers report a 67 percent hike in car sales and a 34 percent gain in truck sales in September over the same month last year.
Nationwide, sales of Toyota cars and trucks rose 16 percent in September over the year-ago month.
In Southeast Toyota's five-state region, total vehicle sales for the 1992 model year increased 14 percent over the previous year. Nationwide, Toyota vehicle sales topped one million for the 1992 model year (MY), up 1.2 percent from MY '91.
