* During the annual meeting for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, eight leaders in the chemical engineering industry were presented awards of accomplishment.

Dr. Stanley I. Sandler received the 2004 Founders award for outstanding contributions to the field of chemical engineering. Dr. Sandler is the H.B. du Pont chair of chemical engineering and directs the Center for Molecular Engineering and Thermodynamics at the University of Delaware. Dr. L.K.
