The National Association of Chain Drug Stores had its 6th Annual NACDS Charitable Foundation dinner and annual board meeting in New York late last month. The dinner drew a record 540 retail and supplier executives. More than $1.8 million was raised for education, research and charitable organizations.
NACDS Chairman Mary Sammons presents former May's Drug executive Jerry Heller with the association's Century Award, honoring Heller's lifetime of work in the chain drug industry.
