PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local MAJID AL-FUTTAIM INVESTMENTS, a subsidiary of the ABDULLAH AL-FUTTAIM GROUP, recently awarded a real estate development contract to a Lebanese/British joint venture. The partners in the planned undertaking include ARABIAN CONSTRUCTION CO. (ACC) of Lebanon, an affiliate of ARABIAN CONSTRUCTION CO. (INT) SAL, and UK-based HIGGS & HILL.
According to the terms of the award, the partnership will be responsible for building the Dubai Festival City that will involve 100,000 square meters of built-up area. The project includes the construction of: - An Ikea store; - A hypermarket; - Atrium buildings.
