Dec. 30--GOSHEN, N.H. -- Spurred by citizens' petitions, two proposed changes to Goshen's zoning ordinance this year would make building a condominium complex or excavating gravel in the rural town more difficult.
Keeping in mind Mount Sunapee Resort's proposal for a 250-unit slope-side housing development and Newport Sand and Gravel's ongoing efforts to dig up the Anderson Pit off Lear Hill Road, the Goshen Planning Board developed a list of seven proposed zoning changes aimed at protecting the town's rural character, Planning Board Chairman John Wirkkala said.
