Domestic RAX-2000 aromatics adsorbent, a major technical research project of SINOPEC, has made successful commercial application tests in Qilu aromatics unit. It has important implications on the development of aromatics production technology in China.
The core technology for the production of adsorbents has always been monopolized by large foreign companies. Qilu aromatics unit has used 158 tons of the domestic adsorbent and saved RMB11.06 million compared with the purchase of foreign adsorbents.
